University of Auckland ASEAN High Achievers Scholarship 2025

This scholarship is open to ASEAN nationals who have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to the University of Auckland.

Eligibility

Applicants must be international students from an ASEAN country and meet one of the following:

• New student with a conditional or unconditional admission offer.
• English Language Academy (ELA) student with a conditional or unconditional admission offer.
• Student enrolled or enrolling in the Summer Start International program with a conditional or unconditional admission offer.

Eligible programs include:

• Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) or a master’s degree.
• Undergraduate degree (with overseas secondary or post‑secondary qualifications).

Applicants enrolled in a business master’s program in the Graduate School of Management (GSM), except for the Master of Applied Finance, Master of Business Analytics, and Master of Supply Chain Management, are not eligible.

A minimum Grade Point Equivalent of 6.00 is required.

Selection Criteria

Selection is based on academic merit and the quality of the application letter and referee endorsement.

Value

Scholarships are awarded annually and cover a portion of compulsory tuition fees, with a maximum contribution of NZD 10,000 per year.
