University of Auckland Pacific Postgraduate Scholarship 2026

This scholarship provides full funding of up to NZD 14,346 per year plus compulsory fees for eligible Masters and Diploma programmes at the University of Auckland.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a Pacific student.
• Be a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand.
• Be enrolled full‑time (or part‑time for compelling reasons) at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
• Have completed their most recent qualifying programme at a recognised university.
• Achieve a minimum GPA of 7.50 in that programme.
• Be newly enrolling in the programme.

Value

The scholarship provides a stipend of up to $14,346 per annum paid fortnightly, together with coverage of compulsory fees.

Application Process

There is no separate scholarship application. Candidates are automatically considered once their postgraduate admission application is approved.
