The award provides up to CAD 10,000 in partial funding for eligible international study or work experiences. It is available to full‑time undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Waterloo, including international students who hold a valid study permit.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be Canadian citizens or international students with a study permit.
• Applicants must be enrolled in a full‑time undergraduate or graduate program.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence.
• Prior international experience is preferred but not required.

Value of Awards

• Up to $2,500 for a one‑term study experience.
• $2,500 to $5,000 for a one‑term work or volunteer experience.
