Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship 2025 – Overview

The Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship provides partial funding of AUD 5,000 per annum plus a one‑off AUD 2,000 payment toward an international study experience for successful applicants.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a Year 12 student and commence a Swinburne on‑campus degree the year after leaving school.
• Achieve a minimum ATAR of 95.00.
• Meet the academic prerequisites of their chosen degree.

Application Process

All eligible candidates are automatically considered for the scholarship; no separate application form is required beyond the standard admission process.

Scholarship Value

The benefits include:

• Annual payment of AUD 5,000 for the normal duration of the degree.
• One‑off payment of AUD 2,000 toward an international study experience.
• Guaranteed placement in Swinburne Residences for students living more than 80 km from the Hawthorn campus (accommodation costs are not covered).

Key Dates

Applications must be submitted by 28 February 2026. The scholarship is offered for study commencing in the year after the applicant completes Year 12.
