This scholarship provides partial funding of NZD 10,000 toward tuition fees for new international undergraduate students beginning their studies in 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the following conditions:

• Be a new international student paying full international fees and enrolling in the first year of an undergraduate degree.
• Demonstrate academic excellence equivalent to a USA GPA in the A range (A‑, A, A+). Students from New Zealand high schools need an NCEA Level 2 or 3 Certificate endorsed with Excellence.
• Commence studies in Trimester 1, Trimester 2, or Trimester 3 of 2023.
• Study on‑campus in New Zealand.

Students who have completed the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program, are study‑abroad or pathway participants, enrolled in graduate programs, or who have previously studied at Victoria University of Wellington are not eligible.

Application Process

There is no separate application form. Eligible candidates are automatically considered when they submit their admission application. Assessment is based on academic merit, and successful applicants receive notification by email.
