Vice Chancellors International Excellence Scholarship for India 2026

The Vice Chancellors International Excellence Scholarship for India at University of Waikato is available for undergraduate and postgraduate study. Indian nationals can apply for full-time programmes at the University of Waikato in New Zealand. The scholarship provides a tuition fee credit of up to NZD 15,000 for undergraduate study and up to NZD 10,000 for postgraduate study.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of India
• Must be new international students applying for full-time undergraduate or postgraduate study
• Must hold a conditional or unconditional offer of place from the University of Waikato
• Must have a minimum academic achievement equivalent to B+ GPA
• Must not already be enrolled at the University of Waikato or receiving restricted sponsored funding
• Must not be coming through exchange, articulation, or sponsored arrangements

Scholarship Value and Deadline

The scholarship value provides a tuition fee credit of up to NZD $15,000 for undergraduate study and up to NZD $10,000 for postgraduate study. The deadline for sending your application is 31 August 2026.
