VU Fellowship Programme 2026

The VU Fellowship Programme 2026 is a scholarship opportunity offered by Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam for prospective Master's students. VU Amsterdam has allocated approximately one million euros to recruit exceptional and highly motivated non-EU/EEA students into full-time English-taught Master's programmes.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must hold a non-EU/EEA passport.
• The applicant must not be eligible for lower tuition fees.
• The applicant must not be a Dutch national.
• The applicant must demonstrate academic excellence.
• The applicant must secure admission to the first year of a full-time English-taught Master's programme starting in September 2026.
• The applicant must have obtained a degree from outside the Netherlands.
• The applicant must complete a preparatory program before the Master program begins.

Scholarship Value and Application

The successful candidates are awarded a scholarship towards tuition costs. The scholarship value covers only tuition fees. All eligible candidates must complete and submit the online application to be considered for this award.
