Warren and Mahoney Māori and Pasifika Scholarship for MIA and Master of Architecture Professional at Victoria University of Wellington 2025

The scholarship is offered for the Master degree in the field of Architecture at Victoria University of Wellington. It is awarded annually and provides Partial Funding, NZD 5,000. The application deadline is 10 Nov, 2025. The scholarship is open to all nationals who identify as Māori and/or Pasifika and are intending to enrol in their 4th or 5th year (Part 1 or Part 2) of the Master of Interior Architecture or Master of Architecture (Professional) at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicants must be Māori and/or Pasifika and intend to enrol in their 4th or 5th year of the Master of Interior Architecture or Master of Architecture (Professional) at Victoria University of Wellington.
2. The scholarship is tenable for the academic year following the application.

Selection Criteria

The donor seeks an individual who demonstrates a flair for design and innovation, along with strong communication and relationship skills.

Award Details

The scholarship provides NZD 5,000 in partial funding. Recipients may also be offered a summer internship directly with Warren and Mahoney. The successful recipient is required to write a letter of thanks to the donor.

The scholarship was established in 2021 by Warren and Mahoney to support Māori and Pasifika students passionate about Architecture and Design, promoting diversity within the profession. It aims to help students build professional skills and connect with industry networks.
