Young Carer Bursary at University of Portsmouth 2025

The Young Carer Bursary is crafted to assist full-time undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Portsmouth who are below 25 years old and have caring duties for a relative. This award provides monetary support to assist with the costs of university study.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must hold UK citizenship.
• Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student under 25 years of age.
• Must provide care for a parent or family member (not including dependent offspring).
• Annual household earnings must be under £25,000.

Scholarship Benefits

The award includes partial funding of GBP 500 annually to help reduce the financial strain of tertiary education.
