How do I pay the IELTS fees?

The IELTS fees can be paid online in a hassle-free manner. You can pay the IELTS exam fee through any of the following ways:

• Credit or Debit (Visa or Master) card and Netbanking
• Demand Draft -You can draw a demand draft in favour of "IDP EDUCATION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, Payable at New Delhi" to make the fee payment. It must be made from the list of approved banks, adhering to the terms and conditions specified by IDP
• Bank deposit -You can deposit cash in ICICI/HDFC bank branches through a customized deposit slip. Download the slip from the IELTS IDP India website or visit the nearest IELTS IDP branch office or referral partner. Ensure you attach the original customer copy of the deposit slip along with the IELTS application form

What is the fee to reschedule the IELTS test?

The fee to reschedule your IELTS test is INR 3,300. Sometimes, situations can be unfavorable, and you might not be able to do the IELTS test. You must inform the test center regarding canceling or postponing the test. The center will allot you convenient alternative slots to postpone your IELTS test.

If you cancel or reschedule the IELTS test more than 5 weeks of the scheduled test date, you will get a refund, but there will be an administration charge of INR 3,300

You will get no refund if you reschedule the test within the last 5 weeks of the test unless you provide a valid medical certificate for your emergency

You are eligible for a refund minus local administrative cost of you provide a medical certificate in the last 5 days of the test

IELTS cancellation fee

IELTS cancellation rules are the same as rescheduling the test. If you cancel the test before 5 weeks from the test date, you will get a refund minus the administration costs. However, you still can get a refund minus the administration charges if you cancel the test 5 days before the test if you provide a valid medical certificate

You will not get a refund if you don’t submit a valid medical certificate or provide a convincing reason for canceling the scheduled test

How do I request a revaluation of my IELTS result?

Those wishing to review their IELTS results for potential improvement can request a recheck of their scores. A full refund will be issued if the test taker's score is revised to a higher band. The request is officially known as Enquiry on IELTS Results (EOR).
