How do I pay the IELTS fees?
The IELTS registration fee in INR can be paid fully online during the booking process at ieltsidpindia.com. No instalment payments are available. The full fee must be paid upfront at the time of registration.
Online payment options:
UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM) is the most widely used and recommended method for Indian students. Credit or Debit card (Visa or Mastercard) payments are accepted, but a processing fee of ₹200 applies when paying by card for IELTS Academic registration online.
No processing fee is charged for UPI or Net Banking payments. Always check your total at checkout before confirming. Net Banking is also accepted.
Offline payment options:
Demand Draft drawn in favour of “IDP Education India Private Limited, Payable at New Delhi” from an IDP-approved bank. Bank Deposit via ICICI or HDFC bank branches using a customised deposit slip downloaded from ieltsidpindia.com.
You must attach the original customer copy of the deposit slip along with your IELTS application form. You can also visit the nearest IDP IELTS branch or referral partner for offline registration.

IELTS Rescheduling Fee 2026
The current IELTS rescheduling fee in India is approximately ₹4,500.
IELTS Test Date Change Rules
- More than 5 weeks before the test → rescheduling allowed with admin charge
- Within 5 weeks of the test → no rescheduling permitted
- Students must cancel and rebook instead
